The State Stack

Each of us carries a stack: our state in the social, in the relational power dynamic, and in our psychology. Set on the three lines C, B and A, a straight stack is a held state and a bent stack is mixed. A full stack at A is rare. The room's centre of weight shows whether the group has phased.

Arrive

A first meeting. Most people arrive in C: the vertical players carry their roles, their power and their drive. Two horizontal players hold B and one holds A. The centre of weight already leans toward B, but most of the room is C.

Colour shows where someone comes from. Position shows where they are now.

Most of the room C

The phase reads where most of the room is. One person at A pulls the centre of weight on their own.
